Camden Education Fund Goes Into Fourth Year of Providing Grants to Youth-Serving Nonprofits

The Camden Education Fund (CEF) has initiated its Youth-Serving Organization (YSO) Grant Program for the fourth consecutive year. This grant opportunity aims to financially support exceptional, Camden-based nonprofits offering essential services to students beyond the classroom, such as mentoring, mental health support, academic tutoring, and arts opportunities. Up to 30 organizations in Camden City dedicated to youth development may qualify for grants ranging from $5,000 to $40,000. Priority will be given to organizations delivering academic, socioemotional/mental health, and mentorship services, with the highest funding allocated to those collaborating closely with schools. Giana Campbell, Executive Director of CEF, emphasizes the crucial role of community support in aiding students, especially in the post-pandemic era: “As students continue to rebound from the pandemic, we know that supporting students inside and outside of the classroom is more important than ever. It takes a village, and this grant program allows us to continue to build that village with groups dedicated to serving youth.”
