What We Do
We partner with local leaders to create innovative public school systems.
We believe that public schools can help move children out of poverty and into thriving adult lives. This is possible when all children have fair access to quality schools, when educators have the flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students, when education leaders reflect the communities they serve, and when families most impacted by the system have the power to change it.
We provide grant funding in partner cities to give all students — especially those historically denied access — a quality education
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:
Our work will only succeed if we tackle the systemic racism and injustice that lie at the root of educational inequity. That’s why we are committed to becoming an anti-racist organization and supporting local partners in becoming anti-racist. We celebrate diversity in all forms and recognize that diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments are critical to achieving our mission.
