David Harris is a Partner with City Fund. He is the Founder and former CEO of The Mind Trust, which drove sweeping changes to how education is delivered in Indianapolis. Prior to that he served as Indianapolis’ first Charter Schools Director under Mayor Bart Peterson and built the city’s charter school initiative that won Harvard University’s Innovations in American Government Award. David is a graduate of Northwestern University and Indiana University Law School. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife, a teacher, and his three children.
