Baton Rouge group celebrates thousands of dollars in community investments
The Baton Rouge Alliance for Students celebrates the community impact achieved by its grant recipients this year. With over $450,000 invested to date in local organizations, these grants have enhanced crucial resources for Baton Rouge students. This includes advocacy, community investment, and support for parents navigating their children’s education. Adonica Pelichet Duggan, CEO of the Alliance, emphasizes the importance of ensuring every child’s right to an excellent education. The Alliance aims to equip nonprofits with the necessary resources for success and expansion in serving children in the area.
“An excellent education is every child’s birthright. That looks like advocacy, that looks like community investment, and helping to support parents navigate their children’s education,” says Duggan.
