Memphis Lift celebrates opening of new multi-million dollar parent resource center

Memphis Lift, a parent-led organization in Memphis focused on improving education in underperforming schools, has opened the Brenda Rogers Parent Resource Center. This new facility, located in North Memphis, aims to serve as a national hub for parent advocacy. Sarah Carpenter, executive director of Memphis Lift, highlighted that the center will significantly expand their capacity to train parents and support families. The center includes essential resources like a food pantry, uniform closet, computer lab, and space for educational programs and community events. This expansion marks a pivotal step in Memphis Lift’s mission to empower parents and enhance youth education through comprehensive community support and advocacy efforts.
