Netflix founder to speak at education fundraiser

Reed Hastings, the founder and Executive Chairman of Netflix, is scheduled to provide remarks at the RISE TOGETHER for Excellence in Education fundraising luncheon.  The event, hosted by RISE INDY, aims at raising awareness about the critical need for education justice and to support RISE INDY’s difference-making work.   

RISE INDY was founded by Jasmin Shaheed-Young, who remains the organization’s president and CEO.  The organization is dedicated to promoting educational justice within Indianapolis schools.  Its mission is to make a real and lasting impact on the lives of students across Indianpolis.
