New education nonprofit’s report reveals citywide school access inequity

A report from Fort Worth Education Partnership shows that access to top performing schools in the city depends on where a student lives. The education nonprofit released nine report cards for each City Council District, showing disparities across the city.

“People think of Fort Worth and the (Fort Worth ISD) as the same, but what we saw when we put these reports together is that the education of our kids is not a single school district challenge; it’s a city of Fort Worth challenge,” Beasley told the Fort Worth Report.
