Rocketship Texas breaks ground on charter school in Fort Worth’s Stop Six neighborhood

Shovels recently hit the ground on a new Rocketship Texas charter school in the Stop Six neighborhood of Fort Worth. The school will focus on the needs of children from diverse and low-income backgrounds. The K-5 school is the first school managed by Rocketship Texas in the Fort Worth Independent School District (“ISD”).  When it opens in the Fall of 2022, it will offer personalized learning, parent leadership teams, and student mental health supports.

“Our plan is to collaborate with Fort Worth ISD, make sure that kids who go to this school continue through Fort Worth ISD  and make a better district for the entire city,” said former Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Dansby.
