San Antonio nonprofit organization helps parents navigate charter school process
As San Antonio’s charter school options grow, there is increasing interest and demand from parents for information and the tools to navigate the system of choice, San Antonio Charter Moms’ Inga Cotton told a local TV station recently. She noted that the pandemic caused many parents to become more engaged in their children’s education and evaluate their school choices.
“Families got an up-close look at what schools like when their kids experienced distance learning or doing school from home,” Cotton said. “And for some families, they needed a different setting. And just getting that up-close look, they realized they needed to look more closely at what type of school is going to serve their kids the best.”
