Leilani Matāsaua Pimentel is the Director of Development with City Fund. She previously led development for APIA Scholars, where she expanded national investments in higher education equity for first-generation, low-income Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. She is the former Press Secretary for the late Congressman Eni Faleomavaega, of her family’s native American Sāmoa. Leilani is a graduate of Stanford University. She lives in Reno, Nevada with her husband and two daughters.
